Roxanne Shante's Old School Party
Yo, this was nice. It was cool to see some of the artist who I grew up listening to still rockin' it better than some of the newer cats out now. The lineup was nice as well with Roxanne Shante as the host, Chubb Rock, Dana Dane, who had former Kid 'n' Play dj, DJ Wiz on the set with him, and Big Daddy Kane finishing off the night. Got a chance to talk to some of the guys too as there were as down to earth as can be. Posted some pics below:

De la Soul Show w/Big Pooh
Another dope show I got a chance to see with De La with Rapper Big Pooh as the opening act. Pooh was pretty surprised Memphis was hip to Little Brother, but as I told him and Big Dho when I talked to them for a minute, "Memphis is LB country". He ripped his set doing cuts from LB and his two solo albums "Sleepers" (a personal favorite), and "Delightful Bars". Then De La came on and rocked the house and said that they had to make sure they came back here after about 15 years. Glad they did.
