         <description><![CDATA[Empee and MaxPtah have earned their  stripes in the Memphis  underground rap community.&#160; Empee was a member of  the duo Kontrast with  Jason “Da Hater” Harris before going on to gain  acclaim as a solo  rapper/producer. MaxPtah has also made a name for  himself on the mic  and behind the production boards. These hip-hop vets  came together and  recorded the album Listen!!, which showcases  their rhyming and beatmaking skills.

MaxPtah, has been a mainstay of the Memphis underground  hip-hop  community for years. Originally in the group Pirana U, Ptah  has come  into his own over the years as a solo artist and producer for  several  hip-hop artists such as the Iron Mic Coalition. His latest EP, Absolute  Zero, showcases the maturation of this Memphis hip-hop vet while  also hinting at his future growth.
